I got my PFHEA in 2024, having been at Hull for 9 years in a variety of roles including Director of Education for the School of Natural Sciences and Senior Fellow of the Teaching Excellence Academy. My application also draws on activities with the Royal Society of Biology Heads of University Biosciences Group (RSB HUBS), Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) and Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).

Note 1: This was written against the 2011 UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) criteria, so will not be directly applicable against the 2023 UKPSF.

Note 2: Hull has an internal fellowship scheme (DARTE) so the format of this application is not the same as applying direct to AdvanceHE or other institutional schemes, but this should give you an example of the types of language, activities and evidence required for PFHEA.
